A live mic catches an athlete whispering something about nearby female to his teammates sounds like a recipe for disaster. We'll just let your mind wander and think of all the ways a scenario like that could go terribly wrong. However, in the case of Wisconsin's Nigel Hayes, it wasn't bad at all. But you couldn't tell from his reaction right after finding out everyone heard what he said.
Hayes may have felt embarrassed, but maybe the Badgers sophomore could turn lemons into lemonade in this situation. And if all else fails, Nigel can just be happy with the fact that he is currently using Kobe Bryant's locker.
