When Giants head coach Tom Coughlin started his coaching career in the NFL, allllllllll the way back in 1984 as a wide receivers coach for the Eagles, there was no such thing as iPhones. Hell, forget cell phones—the idea of a cordless phone was still new and innovative. So you can't really blame the 68-year-old Coughlin for not being in-the-know when it comes to iPhones in 2015.

That didn't stop some reporters from asking him about how he uses technology earlier today, though. And his answers to their questions made him sound like every other grandfather wandering around aimlessly and trying to figure out what the hell "LOL" means when their grandkids text them.

Coughlin started off by describing his texting style:

He then revealed that he doesn't trust Siri:

And he said that the Giants as a team studied millennials recently in order to try and understand them better:

As a Giants fan, all I have to say is…what?! I understand why a guy like Coughlin might not be all that interested in learning the ins and outs of emojis, Twitter, and right-swiping on Tinder. But is everyone in the Giants organization really as inept as he is when it comes to technology? If so, YIKES.
