Why did it take five years for Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao to agree to a fight? That's the question that Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless posed to Pacquiao on ESPN First Take today. And Pacquiao's response almost made Stephen A.'s head explode.

Pacquiao said that he believes Mayweather is "afraid of losing," which is why he didn't agree to fight him much earlier. That set Stephen A. off and led to more questions about Pacquiao's feelings on Mayweather. And by the end of the interview, SAS was yelling, "I hope you know Floyd is watching this," at Pacquiao and questioning just about everything that he was saying.

In fairness to Stephen A., this interview would have been terrible if it weren't for him. Pacquiao (who made an appearance on ESPN's His & Hers later and said Ronda Rousey could beat Mayweather in a fight) played things way too safe at the beginning, which is why Stephen A. sprung into action and got him going. But he really went above and beyond to help Pacquiao sell the fight, didn't he?

Check out the 3:30 mark of the video above to see things heat up. Or if you don't feel like watching it, this Vine sums up the entire interview pretty nicely:
