Kevin Durant is done. A week after the Oklahoma City Thunder said Durant would be out "indefinitely" following increased soreness in his surgically repaired foot, they've given another update.

Welp. So there it is: another surgery next week and a four to six month recovery time. He'll end up missing 55 regualar season games. Even with Russell Westbrook printing triple-doubles like it's money at the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing, the Thunder have managed to float barely above .500 (23-22) without Durant.
The Thunder just can't catch a break, man. Just ONE year, we'd like to see Russy, Serge, and KD all HEALTHY for the playoffs. The 2012 Finals feel like a long time ago, and Durant will be entering the final year of his contract in OKC next season. Almost three years removed from that lone Finals run, injuries appear to have ruined a budding Western Conference dynasty. *sigh* They'll have one more chance to keep it all together and win before Durant hits free agency.
