If you're in need of some NFL action right about now, Hassan Whiteside is here to help. That may sound crazy considering, you know, Whiteside plays in the NBA. However, during Monday's game between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat, the 25-year-old center once again let his emotions get the best of him.
Last week, Whiteside was tossed from Miami's game against the Phoenix Suns when he got into a wrestling match with Alex Len. After that contest, Hassan told the Sun Sentinel, "I regret doing that...Violence is not the answer. That's what it was."
Violence is not the answer, huh? Well, how will Whiteside explain why he decided to deliver a completely unnecessary blindside hit on the Celtics' Kelly Olynyk after both guys got tangled up late in the third quarter?
