Georgetown center Tyler Adams chose the Hoyas as the school he was going to continue his post-high school basketball career with. Unfortunately, four games into his freshman season, he was diagnosed with a heart condition that derailed it. That was all the way back in 2011.

Now fast forward to today, Adams' Senior Day, where coach John Thompson III started Tyler who (unless it was a monumental defensive breakdown) was gifted the opening basket by opponent Seton Hall. GU then called timeout and the senior left to a standing ovation.

While it was a classy move by Seton Hall, we're still waiting for someone to one-up this now solidly cemented tradition. Gift a dude a double-double. Now that would be considerate.
