Kevin Garnett started his NBA career with the Timberwolves back in 1995 when they selected him with the fifth pick in the NBA Draft. And if Minnesota gets its way, KG is going to finish his career with them, too.

According to ESPN's Marc Stein, the T'wolves are trying to work out a trade with the Nets right now that would bring KG back to the team this season. They have reportedly offered Brooklyn Thaddeus Young in exchange for KG, and the Nets are said to be interested in doing that deal. But because KG has a full no-trade clause written into his contract, he would need to agree to the trade before it could go through. And it's unclear whether or not he'd be willing to do that at this time.

The Timberwolves and Nets have until 3 p.m. today to try and work out the trade. Stay tuned to see what KG ultimately decides to do.
