When the year began, the Pittsburgh Steelers planned to split carries between hulking veteran LeGarrette Blount and promising second-year man Le'Veon Bell. It's funny how plans can change.

Unsatisfied with playing time, Blount clashed with the Steelers coaching staff and was cut from the team outright in November. Bell flourished in his expanded roll and established himself as one of the best running backs in football. Seriously. His 2,125 yards from scrimmage in 2014 were second only to Dallas' Demarco Murray. His 1,316 rushing yards were the most by a Steeler since Willie Parker did it in 2006. It should be noted, however, that things worked out pretty well for Blount.

We caught up with Bell while in Phoenix on behalf of New Era cap and it’s Style Lounge for Super Bowl XLIX. And sure, we spoke to him about his breakout season, but—perhaps more importantly—we gave Bell the floor to say what's up to one of his biggest fans: Snoop Dogg (see video above). Check it out.
