San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich covered a major coaching milestone last night against the Indiana Pacers. Thanks to a last-second shot from Marco Belinelli, Popovich secured win No. 1,000 of his NBA coaching career.
Pop, of course, was as humble as ever when discussing his victories...

Oh, and if you're in need of some perspective for Pop's accomplishment, consider the following:

Outside of Jerry Sloan's tenure with the Utah Jazz, Popovich's 1,000 victories with the Spurs are the most that any one coach has with a single franchise. Tim Duncan and Popovich are also the winningest player-coach duo in NBA history.
