A lot of athletes choose to take out full-page ads in the newspaper when they leave a team in order to say goodbye to their fans. But Amar'e Stoudemire has been in the New York City papers so often over the last few years—mostly for all the wrong reasons—that he decided to go a different route when the Knicks officially parted ways with him earlier this afternoon. He took to Instagram to share a poem with his fans. And while he clearly doesn't know the difference between "your" and "you're" (c'mon, STAT!), it was a fitting end to his Knicks' career:
Farewell, Amar'e. *tears* Farewell.
