Seahawks CB Richard Sherman doesn't think Roger Goodell will punish the Patriots over deflategate due to a "conflict of interest" with Robert Kraft.

Put a microphone in Richard Sherman's face and he gives you an answer outside of typical cliches and one word "yes" or "nos." That's a good thing. With his unique quality amongst athletes to actually answer questions, you knew somebody was going to ask the Seahawks cornerback about the Patriots and deflated footballs, and that's what some guy off-screen decided to do earlier today on NFL Network.

Sherman's response was candid, as expected, with the corner calling out friends with benefits Roger Goodell and Patriots owner Robert Kraft. Sherman says he doesn't expect the Pats to be punished over the alleged transgression with Sherman mentioning the two men hanging out at Kraft's house (a picture that was shared on the Patriots Twitter account last weekend):

A decision over the controversy isn't expected to be reached for several weeks yet, so we'll have to wait a bit before seeing whether or not Sherman's prediction ultimately pans out or not.
