Most parents wouldn't be happy to hear that one of their kids failed a drug test and was going to have to spend time in rehab. Most parents would be devastated to hear the news. But during a recent sit-down interview with WBNG in Binghamton, N.Y., Jon Jones' mother Camille revealed that she was actually "glad" when she heard about Jones failing a drug test last week. Rather than get upset, she looked at the silver lining in the situation.

"I'm glad that this happened to Jon," she told WBNG. "This stopped him in his tracks. This let him know that he may need to change some friends, you know, because everyone is not for you, for the best. So this is a good thing as far as our family is concerned, so we wasn't upset. Me and my husband considered it a blessing from God that our child was able to be helped and know that he needs to stop and know that he needed the assistance to stop before it came to something worse."

Jones' mother also talked about what she told the UFC champ when he called and told her that he was headed to rehab.

"When he tested positive, my first question was: 'Do you have a problem, a serious problem?'" she said. "And then he told me what happened. Jon is usually very honest with me, so he told me what happened. I was like, 'Good for you…good. You needed to be caught.' It was just timing."

And she revealed that, while Jones did go to rehab, he only spent one night there before leaving. However, she said that he's still receiving some treatment and that she's glad his problem "was nipped in the bud."
