The Lakers couldn't stop Damian Lillard last night.

Damian Lillard has hit a lot of big shots for the Trail Blazers over the last couple years. So with Portland leading the Lakers by six last night and about a minute remaining in the fourth quarter, it was no surprise to see the Blazers get the ball into Lillard's hands. What was surprising, though, was how easily the Lakers allowed him to score.

Rather than trying to contain Lillard in order to force him to take a tough shot, the Lakers tried to pressure him at the top of the key. And that turned out to be a very bad decision, as Lillard drove right down the lane, soared over both Ed Davis and Jordan Hill, and threw down a crazy dunk even though he got fouled on the play. It put the Blazers up eight and allowed them to walk out of the Staples Center with a 106-94 win.

Is there anything that Damian Lillard can't do right now? He finished with 34 points last night and proved, once again, why he's one of the best points guards in the entire NBA.
