*checks calendar* Is it February?!

Typically, there aren't a whole bunch of trades that take place in the NBA in December. But a short time ago, less than 24 hours after the Mavericks agreed to a deal with the Celtics that landed them Rajon Rondo, the Rockets agreed to a deal with the Timberwolves that will land them Corey Brewer.

Here are the details of the trade, courtesy of Yahoo! Sports reporter Adrian Wojnarowski:

1.

Minnesota has agreed to trade Corey Brewer to Houston, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

2.

Houston will send two future second round picks to Minnesota in the deal, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

Obviously, this isn't as big a deal as the one involving Rondo. But it should improve the Rockets' roster and make Houston a stronger team than they already were. And it'll be interesting to see how Brewer plays now that he'll be running with a playoff-caliber team.
