It's still unclear whether or not Jim Harbaugh will accept the head coaching position that was reportedly offered to him by Michigan last week. But according to Fox Sports, Harbaugh's future with the 49ers is becoming more and more clear. It seems San Francisco is going to fire Harbaugh after the end of the NFL regular season—and it's not going to take them very long to do it.

Fox Sports reporter Jay Glazer is reporting that the 49ers will officially part ways with Harbaugh within 48 hours of the end of the season. When they do, Harbaugh will then reportedly see what other NFL opportunities open up in the coming weeks before he decides whether to take the Michigan job. And according to Glazer, the Bears are one team that Harbaugh might be interested in coaching, if they decide to fire their head coach Marc Trestman.

Stay tuned to see where Harbaugh ultimately ends up. It probably won't be in the Bay Area. But he's definitely going to land with another team quickly if the Niners do decide to fire him.
