In 2014 Ole Miss reigns supreme in the egg bowl. After coming into the game on a slide, getting completely shut out against Arkansas last weekend and having lost three of the past four games, senior Bo Wallace and the Rebels shut down Mississippi State, the No. 4 team in the country, 31-17. In the process, Ole Miss completely ruined any shot Dak Prescott and the Bulldogs had of starring in the first ever College Football Playoff.

Wallace, the rare four-year player these days, only completed 13 of his 30 passes but threw for 296 yards. Two of the biggest plays came from Jaylen Walton on this 91-yard scramble:

... and a 31-yard touchdown pass from running back Jordan Wilkins.

With the four-spot open for the playoff, that gives some much-desired hope from teams like TCU, Baylor, and Ohio State (though that'd be unlikely with Barrett now out). Or, who knows, maybe Oregon and Alabama will both lose tonight, and the entire world will just explode.
