Earlier today, Metta World Peace—who is playing in China at the moment—made an appearance on The Dan Patrick Show and was asked whether he would rather be playing for the Lakers or the Knicks right now. The Knicks seemed like the obvious choice, given how poorly Los Angeles has played so far this season. But rather than select either of the two teams, World Peace went in a different direction. A much, much different direction:
Africa?! Ha. We don't know that we blame him.
All kidding aside, though, World Peace also talked about the idea of him playing in the NBA again this season. And he revealed that he's received some interest from several teams and will likely be back in the league once his stint in the Chinese Basketball Association is over:
That is, unless Angola comes calling first! Stay tuned to see if any NBA teams actually take a chance on him later this season.
