Has Manny Pacquiao already given himself a win over Chris Algieri on November 22? It sure sounds like it. Because even though he needs to get through that fight before he can start thinking about his next one, Pacquiao spoke with reporters this week and revealed that he still has his sights set on a 2015 fight against Floyd Mayweather.

"I do have one specific goal," he said, "and that is to give the boxing fans the fight they have always asked for. I want that fight [with Floyd Mayweather], too."

Will it happen, though, provided Pacquiao beats Algieri? Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum sounded skeptical during an interview this week.

"How can I talk for Mayweather?" he asked. "As far as the Pacquiao fight is concerned with Mayweather, as much as a lot of people surrounding it would want it to happen, myself included and Manny included, Floyd is reluctant to fight Manny Pacquiao, period. If people don't see that by now, they are never going to see it."

Same old story. Expect a response from Mayweather in 5, 4, 3...
