Most of the time, there's at least some malice when someone calls another a "pussy" even if it's the heat of the moment. There are many taunts said on the court. But pussy? That's almost like saying, "If you want it you can get it." The "it" refers to an altercation.

It's still a very of the moment sort of anger, though, and Kobe Bryant thinks that was the case when Kevin Durant hurled the five-letter word at Dwight Howard. Bryant admitted he didn't completely mean what he said to Howard when they got into it, and he thinks the same is the case for Durant.

“No, I don’t feel that way. I don’t think Kevin does, either,” Bryant said on Howard not being a you-know-what, according to ESPN Los Angeles. “In moments of confrontation during a game, you’ll say things in the heat of the moment.

“I know Dwight. I’m sure Kevin does. We don’t really feel that way about him. It’s like when you get in an argument with somebody, you’ll say things out of frustration, out of anger, that you don’t really mean.”

Makes sense. Things do get blown out of proportion these days. But here's a question: If Durant and Bryant spot Howard at a Fatburger, you think they'd say what's up?
