Derrick Rose hurt his hamstring during the Bulls game against the Raptors last night. And while it doesn't appear to be a major injury and probably won't prevent him from playing in Chicago's next game against the Pacers on Saturday night, it has a lot of people wondering whether or not Rose is going to be able to stay healthy for more than a game or two at a time this season. But following the game last night, Rose's teammate Joakim Noah delivered a message to everyone who's freaking out about Rose's recent rash of injuries.

"Looking at it as a teammate, it's just frustrating because I feel like he's sometimes portrayed as something that he's not," Noah said. "You don't come back from the injuries that he's coming back from without unbelievable commitment, you know what I'm saying? I'm just growing and just watching the power that you [media] guys have, sometimes it's just you guys can really portray somebody as something that he's not. It's just that, to me, that's a little disappointing. Just because I know how much he cares about this game. I see it every day."

Noah also said that he thinks everyone needs to "chill the fuck out" when it comes to worrying about Rose.

"Every time something happens to him, people act like it's the end of the world," he said. "And that's fucking so lame to me. Relax. Like, OK, he's coming back from two crazy surgeries. Obviously we're being conservative with him, and when things aren't going right, he's got to listen to his body more than anybody. So everybody needs to chill the fuck out. I mean, I'm sorry for cursing, but I'm really passionate. I don't like to see him down. And he doesn't say that he's down, but I don't like it when, like, people portray him and judge him. 'Cause it's not fair to him. It's not."

We don't blame anybody for being worried about Rose and his health. But Noah brings up some good points here. We're only a few weeks into the 2014-15 NBA season and Rose is still trying to work his way back into the Bulls' lineup after taking almost two years off due to injuries. So as Noah says, chill out. It's not time to press the panic button just yet.
