Newcastle United really struggled for much of the early Premier League season, but have turned it around of late and have won their last three league matches. They got a huge boost from Ayoze Perez today as they looked to make it four in a row, as the forward finished absolutely brilliantly with this truly audacious flick to give his team a 1-0 lead just before halftime.
Perez’s incredible finish is an early nominee for goal of the season, although strikes by Phil Jagielka and Angel Di Maria are worthy contenders as well.
