Prior to the start of the 2014-15 NBA season, Papa John's announced a promotion that seemed like it would be a hit amongst 76ers fans. The promotion called for Papa John's to provide customers with 50 percent off their online orders on the days following Sixers wins:

However, there's been one big issue with the promotion: The Sixers just can't seem to win a game. So far this season, they are 0-11. And looking at their upcoming schedule—they play the Suns tonight before taking on the Knicks tomorrow, the Trail Blazers on Monday, and the Nets on Wednesday—it's unclear when Philadelphia is actually going to get their first win. So in addition to watching a lot of bad basketball this season, Sixers fans have also been forced to watch Papa John's commercials and think, "Mmmmm, wouldn't it be nice to have one of those pizzas…for 50 percent off?"

There's some good news, though. Because the Sixers have been so bad, Papa John's just announced that they're going to alter their original promotion in order to allow Sixers fans to have a better chance at scoring 50 percent off pizzas. Instead of offering discounted pizzas on the days after Sixers wins, Papa John's is now going to offer them on the days after the Sixers score 90 points:

This still presents a little bit of a problem for Sixers fans, seeing as how the Sixers have only scored 90 points on four occasions this season. But at the very least, they now have a chance! And that should make them happy, right? Er…sure. We think.

So now that we have that worked out, is there anything that can be done to help K.J. McDaniels' mom Shawn Chapman McDaniels? She took to Twitter very early yesterday morning and let it be known that she is not happy about the direction the Sixers' franchise is headed in right now:

Maybe a 50 percent off pizza will do the trick?

Ha. Yeah, maybe not:

4.

Oh, Sixers. This season isn't going to be very much fun for anyone, is it?
