2000 NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion Vince Carter maybe just shy of 38 years old, and on his sixth different NBA team since entering the league in 1998, but Half-Man, Half-Amazing still has hops. Carter, who signed with the Memphis Grizz this offseason, will turn 38 in January, and is still showing flashes of his aerial ability.

On Monday night, Vince returned home to Dallas, where he played from 2011 until the end of last season, and got reacquainted with former teammate Dirk Nowitzki. And by reacquainted, we mean Vince went full Mutombo mode to reject Dirk’s attempt at a throw down. Not only did Carter say get that shit out of here, he gave the 2011 Finals MVP a finger wag to remember him by.

Dirk, being the good sport he is, joked about the rejection after the game, though were not so sure Mark Cuban was laughing at the time.
