Jeremy Lin is going to have to wait a little longer for Nick Young to prove he's worthy of being called Swaggy P. Young got hurt in practice and will be out for a bit.
Specifically, he tore a ligament in his right thumb and will miss six to eight weeks. The Lakers say the injury happened when Young tried to steal the ball from Kobe Bryant (of course), according to Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News.
Young wasn't just swagged out; he was solid on-court last season, when he averaged 17.9 points. So this one is definitely a bruise for the Lakers.
