It hasn't been a very good year so far for Paul George. From the collapse of the Pacers in the second half of the 2013-14 NBA season to the devastating injury that George suffered during his brief time with Team USA this summer, things just haven't gone well for PG on a professional level. And his personal life hasn't been much better.
Earlier this year, a former stripper named Daniela Rajic revealed that she was pregnant with a child that she said belonged to George. And while the NBA star didn't deny that he was the father once Rajic gave birth to a daughter in May, he has refused to take responsibility for the child and has taken a series of legal steps that have prevented him from being involved in the child's life as of yet. Currently, he's involved in a legal battle with Rajic in the state of New York. And according to the New York Post, the judge in George's case just ripped him for being a deadbeat dad up until to this point with regards to Rajic's daughter.
"Even though it is all but certain that [George] is the father of the 5-month-old baby girl at the center of this case, he has gone to every length imaginable to avoid taking responsibility for his actions," Justice Matthew Cooper wrote.
George and his legal team haven't responded to the accusation. But it's safe to say that this is probably going to be a pretty ugly legal proceeding for both George and Rajic. Let's hope they figure out a way to work all of this out as quickly as possible for the sake of the child that's involved.
