Allen Iverson is going to go down as one of the most important players in NBA history. So is Kevin Durant. So when they showed up in the same place last night, they just had to take a photo together. That photo later showed up on KD's Instagram account and included a very heartfelt and sincere caption from KD.
"Chuck too real," he wrote. "He changed the way we play ball. He changed the culture of ball. He is pound for pound the best. He paved the way. I can go on and on. But he's a legend and I'm just walking the path he created."
Awwww. How sweet. That's such a nice thing for KD to say.
We think that you can do better when it comes to captioning this photo, though. For example, one of the captions that got thrown out by an unnamed Complex staffer today was: "Let me tell you how NOT to run through that nine-figure shoe deal."
