James Harden Can't Do the "Carlton Dance" (Video)

Why can't James Harden understand how to do the "Carlton Dance"?

When Team USA won the gold medal at the 2014 FIBA World Cup on Sunday, James Harden and his American teammates treated the rest of the world to a "Shmoney Dance." It was the perfect way for them to end their summer-long domination of the basketball court. And it's a good thing that they chose the "Shmoney Dance" over the "Carlton Dance," because after watching the clip above, it's clear that Harden is not good at the dance that Alfonso Ribeiro made famous on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Like, not good at all.

Harden linked up with Ribeiro yesterday and tried to get the actor to teach him the dance. But when the Rockets star gave it a try after watching Carlton Banks do his thing, he looked stiff and awkward and, well, let's just say that he's better at playing defense than he is at the "Carlton Dance." His attempt was that bad.

See for yourself in the Instagram video that the NBA posted late last night.
