It is a runaway win for Europe in the Ryder Cup, as the defending champions have held on to the coveted trophy by clinching victory over the United States with a 15.5 to 9.5 advantage.

Rory McIlroy, Graeme McDowell, and Justin Rose all won this morning for Europe to put them on the cusp of the victory, and Jamie Donaldson finished the Americans off shortly thereafter. The United States never really challenged, and have now lost eight of the last 10 competitions.

For the guys who are still playing right now, it might actually be kind of nice. The competition part is over, so they can just relax, maybe light up a cigar, crack an adult beverage, and just enjoy a nice Sunday stroll.
