The Buffalo Bills suffered a hard loss over the weekend, falling to the Houston Texans 23-17, and dropping their record to 2-2. A couple key turnovers proved to be the difference for Buffalo, particularly when Texans defender J.J. Watt picked off Bills quarterback E.J. Manuel in the third quarter, and took the INT to the endzone.
On the season, Manuel hasn't been the best in the league. He has just five TDs through four games, and his quarterback rating is a mere 80.3. As a result of his mediocre production, the Bills have decided to bench Manuel in favor of back-up quarterback and longtime NFL journeyman Kyle Orton. The NFL Network's Ian Rapaport confirmed the switch today via Twitter:
The #Bills announce that Kyle Orton will start at QB. 2013 first-rounder EJ Manuel has been benched.

Having joined Buffalo over the offseason, Orton's last appearance in an NFL game was with the Dallas Cowboys in last season's regular season finale. Taking over for an injured Tony Romo, Orton threw 358 yards, two TDs, and two INTs.
More than his play, Orton has become known for having a strangely fanatic following, culminating most memorably in the "Kyle Orton Tribute Song - Woah Dog Yeah Dog" video. You can enjoy the clip in all its brilliance below.
