Tony Stewart Will Not Race at Bristol Motor Speedway This Saturday

Another race, another no-show for Tony Stewart who is still reeling from the tragic death of fellow racer Kevin Ward Jr.

For the third time since hitting and tragically killing 20-year-old fellow NASCAR driver Kevin Ward, Jr. at Canandaigua, N.Y. Motorsports Park on Aug. 9, Tony Stewart has decided to not compete in a sprint car race. This time, Stewart will miss the Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday as he continues to take a "week-by-week" approach when it comes to determining whether or not he wants to return to the track. By continuing to skip races, the three-time NASCAR champion running the risk of missing the Chase, unless he wins one of the remaining competitions. 

The next time Stewart will need to decide on another race won't be until Aug. 31 for the Oral-B USA 500 in Atlanta.
