Every year brings exciting, fresh-faced rookies to the NBA, and 2014 is no different. From Zach LaVine's dunks, to all the drama around Andrew Wiggins, to Joel Embiid's impeccable Twitter game, the most-recent batch of rookies has already delivered with plenty of off-season hype.
We recently found ourselves hanging out with a few of them at the NBA's rookie basketball card photo shoot at the Knicks practice facility in Tarrytown, NY to chat with some of the young'ns about the transition to the big leagues. We talked to Embiid about his Twitter pick-up game (Hi, Rihanna), asked OKC's Mitch McGary about the Based God Curse on Kevin Durant, and made Julius Randle choose between Kobe and Swaggy P for a road-trip buddy (for Randle's sake, we hope Black Mamba misses this).
