Floyd Mayweather is a proven winner. He's 46-0 inside of the boxing ring and is likely going to go down as one of the greatest fighters ever when he eventually decides to hang up his gloves for good. But earlier today, Money Mayweather took a huge L as a result of an audio clip that aired on Power 105's "The Breakfast Club."
In the clip—which was unearthed by "The Breakfast Club" co-host Charlamagne Tha God—Mayweather can be heard struggling to read a "drop" that Power 105 producers asked him to read during a recent appearance on the station. And the clip comes on the heels of 50 Cent challenging Mayweather to a special version of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge yesterday, one that would call for Mayweather to read a page from a Harry Potter book in exchange for a $750,000 donation to charity. So both Charlamagne and 50 seem to be insinuating the same thing right now—that Floyd Mayweather can't read well.
The whole situation is kind of sad. But that hasn't stopped people from going in on the boxing champion on Twitter today. Sure, there are some people out there who are defending Mayweather and chastising Charlamagne and 50 for what they're saying and doing right now.
