Houston fans are going to have to just dream of having Dwight Howard and Chris Bosh together on one team. They could've had something special, but after Bosh re-signed to the Heat. The Rockets had to look for someone else so that the free agency race won't be a total loss. Trevor Ariza averaged 14.4 points and compiled a .404 three-point percentage last season. Definitely not a total loss.
The Houston Rockets have agreed to a four-year, $32 million deal with Trevor Ariza, @USATODAYsports has learned.
The four years is a declining deal; he will be paid $8.6 million, $8.2 million, $7.8 million, and $7.4 million.
It's a notable loss for a Wizards squad that got knocked out of the second round of the playoffs. There's no ill will though.
Congrats to my bro @TrevorAriza Tough to see him go, he pushed me everyday to get better...gud luck out there !!
