This is as scummy as scummy gets. An old man who suffered a stroke and shows signs of early dementia went into a car dealership to get an oil change for his 2011 Honda Fit. Instead he ended up leaving with a brand new, $27,000 2015 Honda Fit

The MSRP maxes out at $21,590.

The price was jacked up to include a maintenance plan and service contract. His monthly payments were set for $459 for a total of seven years. Luckily the old man's caregivers put the kabosh on the whole thing and convinced the car dealership to accept a return.

But they never should have sold the car in the first place.
