Kevin Durant is not going to be an NBA free agent anytime soon. In fact, he's still under contract to play the next two seasons with the Thunder. But due to the fact that LeBron James just agreed to "come home" by signing with the Cavaliers, there are a lot of people out there who are wondering whether or not KD—who grew up in the Washington D.C. area—would be willing to come home as well and sign with the Wizards in the summer of 2016. And after Team USA's practice for the FIBA World Cup yesterday, someone actually asked KD about the possibility of him playing with the Wizards one day and, rather than shoot down the question immediately, KD entertained it.

"It's being talked about," he said. "Everybody is asking me about it every time I go on Instagram or Twitter. All my friends ask me about it. I'm not going to sit here and act like I'm naive to the fact that people think about that stuff."

However, KD isn't going to commit to the idea of doing anything in 2016 because, well, it's still 2014!

"I tell everybody, 'Look, I'm here in Oklahoma City. I love it here. Who knows what will happen?'" he said. "I will never close the door on anything, but I like where I'm at right now."

And we don't blame him one bit for refusing to play the guessing game with regards to his future. We love speculating about the NBA just as much as everybody else does. But c'mon: Are we really asking a guy who still has two seasons left on his contract about free agency?! So much could happen between now and 2016.

So please, guys, no more asking KD about the Wizards (and KD, no more answering!). Because frankly, we can't take another week, let alone another two years, of questions about KD signing with the Wizards.
