Last week, Chris Paul came out and said that if Donald Sterling is still the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers next season, there's a good chance that he will choose to sit out until Sterling is removed from power. He also said that, before doing so, he would speak with DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin about boycotting the Clippers, too, and, ideally, send a message to both Sterling and the NBA's other owners by refusing to play for Sterling. And it sounds like other Clippers players might be ready to join CP3 & Co. as well, if they go have to go through with the boycott.

Last night, Matt Barnes made an appearance on NBC Sports Radio's The Chris Mannix Show. And he explained that a boycott might be a real possibility if Sterling is still the owner of the Clippers come September or October.

"I think so," he said. "We were very close to doing it last year in the middle of the playoffs, and it hadn't really sunk in then. Now the full magnitude of what happened has sunk in. People feel very strong about what happened."

Could it ultimately lead the Clippers to boycott regular season games, though? That's TBD. But it's clear that if Sterling is still the owner of the Clippers at the beginning of next season, there are going to be a lot of Clippers players who aren't going to be happy about it. And they're going to do something to show their displeasure.
