The Heat Expect LeBron James To Re-Sign

LeBron James might be staying in South Beach instead of swapping teams, according to a recent report.

Teams and fans who were hoping to somehow land LeBron James or a James/Carmelo Anthony team-up may have prayed in vain. Many suspected some trouble with the Heat when Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reported some miscommunication between James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade. That "miscommunication" doesn't mean necessarily mean James is leaving though.

Miami Herald's Barry Jackson reported that the Heat "fully expects James will re-sign." Although James is weighing out the options, an unnamed associate said that the Heat are a clear favorite. The King is also reportedly seeking the "maximum money allowed," which Miami would be cool with.

So great! It looks like we'll be spared from the James slander if he were to switch teams. Then again, there is always room for James slander; it just won't come from South Beach.
