Lance Stephenson will not be returning to the Indiana Pacers next season.

Although Larry Bird & Co.made a movie for him and offered him a five-year, $44 million deal earlier this month, Stephenson has reportedly decided to take his talents to Charlotte in the fall where he will suit up for the Hornets. According to ESPN, Stephenson met with Hornets owner Michael Jordan, general manager Rich Cho, and head coach Steve Clifford in Las Vegas last night. And shortly after the meeting ended, the two sides agreed on the terms of a three-year, $27 million deal.

Stephenson will join the Hornets after enjoying a career year during the 2013-14 NBA season. He averaged 13.8 points per game, grabbed 7.2 rebounds, shot 49.1 percent from the field, and led the league with five triple-doubles. He'll add some firepower to a roster that already includes Al Jefferson, Kemba Walker, and newcomer Noah Vonleh.
