Jeremy Lin Is Reportedly Going to Be Traded to the Lakers in a Move That Will Free Up Salary Cap Space for the Rockets

The Rockets have reportedly agreed to trade Jeremy Lin to the Lakers along with a first-round draft pick.

Now that LeBron Jameshas agreed to make his return to Cleveland to play for the Cavaliers, the thought is that Chris Bosh will leave Miami, too. He has a four-year, $88 million contract offer from the Rockets, who want to add him to a roster that already includes James Harden and Dwight Howard. But before they can officially sign Bosh to a deal, they need to shed some of their larger salaries. So according to Yahoo! Sports writer Adrian Wojnarowski, Houston has agreed to trade Jeremy Lin to the Lakers in exchange for next to nothing:

This doesn't mean that Bosh will definitely end up signing with the Rockets. But it does mean that there's a pretty good chance that he will. Stay tuned to see if that's what happens.
