A Food Truck Exploded in a Massive Fireball in Philadelphia

A food truck parked in the Feltonville neighborhood of Philadelphia exploded in a massive fireball last night.

Yesterday evening, Philadelphia’s Feltonville neighborhood shook when a massive fireball erupted from the La Parrillada Chapina food truck. According to reports, a four-foot propane tank on the truck’s exterior exploded, shooting flames that engulfed the entire street.

11 people were confirmed injured in the blast, including a mother and daughter pair who were working inside the truck and remain in critical condition. Two other bystanders remain in the hospital in stable condition, and another seven more have been treated and released.

We hope for a safe recovery for all the victims. Fire inspectors haven’t yet determined the exact cause of the accident.
