Earlier this month, Nick Kyrgios had some lighthearted ribbing towards Drake following a lackluster set against Jiri Vesely in the 2014 Wimbledon Championships which nearly cost him an opportunity to advance to the next round. When asked about his poor first set, Kyrgios directed the blame towards Drake, saying, "I came out really flat, so hopefully I won't listen to that again! It was actually Drake. Didn't do the job for me." Nothing too crazy, right?
Apparently, Kyrgios' comments didn't sit well with the rapper who fired back at Nick:
"I also want to meet this guy that says that he lost because he listened to my music. I also want to meet that guy and look him in the eye and see exactly who he is as a man and size him up and then chop him right down. Nick whatever-his-name-is — ’cause he didn’t win, so that’s how he’s going to be remembered: “Nick whatever-his-name-is.”
Now, look, before this gets out of hand, let's just say that Kyrgios didn't actually lose the match where he listened to Drizzy beforehand nor did he lose his ensuing match against Rafael Nadal. Obviously, 19-year-old tennis phenom from Australia doesn't want any trouble because upon hearing Drake's comments, he posted this tweet:
That may not save from getting a little jab from Drizzy during the ESPYs.
