As recently as just a few years ago, Rihanna didn't really seem to have a strong interest in sports. Sure, she showed up courtside every now and then to watch the Lakers play. But that didn't prove that she was a sports fanatic. She has proved it recently, though, by attending NBA Playoff games, cheering for a variety of teams in the World Cup, and tweeting about a number of athletes.
