Police Investigating Possible Wheelchair Fraud at World Cup

Police are investigating fans at the World Cup who stand despite "needing" wheelcharis.

The cops in Brazil are looking into the possible case of two Brazilian soccer fans who are so into their team that simply watching a game gave them the ability to walk again. The above photo was taken during Brazil's opening match against Croatia and police believe these two may have bought tickets on the black market (and used a wheelchair) to cover that up.

In Brazil they take their scalping seriously, with sentences of up to four years for selling tickets above face value (FYI for any tourists looking to make a quick profit). Handicapped seats cost half the price, and a Brazilian law stipulates that one percent of the stadium seating has to be devoted to disabled fans. They also have the distinction of being amongst the last seats in each arena that are taken.

We'd like to say this revelation surprises us, but seeing how nuts fans have gotten over the World Cup, well, there really is no low (though we're interested to see if anybody can top these two).

Of course, that's assuming they don't have some condition we don't know about.
