At only 26 years old, Clayton Kershaw has had an amazing career which includes three All-Star selections and two National League Cy Young awards, but there was one feat he was never able to accomplish until tonight: throwing a no-hitter. In front of a Dodger Stadium crowd of 46,069 fans, including his wife Ellen, Kershaw became the 22nd pitcher in franchise history to toss a no-no. In addition, Clayton also struck out a new career-high 15 batters

Throughout the game, Kershaw was calm, confident and didn't seem fazed by the possibility of throwing a no-hitter. He even managed to crack a smile from time to time. And while this is undoubtedly a momentous occasion for the young hurler, it could've very well been a perfect game if it weren't for an errant throw by Hanley Ramirez in the 7th inning.

After Ramirez's error, Kershaw went back to work, striking out two of the next three batters in the inning. Eventually, Clayton faced Corey Dickerson in the 9th inning, one out away from history.

After celebrating with his teammates, Kershaw was surprised with a Gatorade shower...

...and BUBBLES...

...and, of course, his wife wasn't too far away to share the moment with him...
