Seeing one of the sexiest cars ever created get in an accident like this is like digging our heart out of our chest with a blunt shovel and then feeding it to a giant farm of fire ants. It's like cutting our stomach out with those scissors only made for creating silly borders during arts and crafts time and then wringing it out like a chamois. It's like pinning our eyes open in front of a repeat loop of Rebecca Black's "Friday" while somebody rubs habanero hot sauce on our corneas. Point being ... it's extremely painful and makes us want to crawl into a ball under our desk and finish whatever whiskey we have around the office.

This happened at the Mille Miglia. The 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing, a car valued at approximately $1,000,000  was hit by a BMW 1-series. The drivers, heirs to the Sixt rental car fortune, left with only light injuries, luckily. Worst Monday ever.
