Even when Mario Balotelli is training to represent his own country in the World Cup, he can't seem to avoid the racial taunts that have followed him around for just about his entire career.

Early Wednesday, Balotelli and his Italian teammates were training for the 2014 World Cup in Florence, Italy when Balotelli was reportedly subjected to a series of racial remarks from fans who were gathered to watch. According to The Guardian, several fans referred to Balotelli as a "black piece of shit" during the training session and said it loudly enough for him to hear it. Balotelli didn't respond to their taunts, but he did reportedly tell his teammates that "this only happens in Rome and Florence" after the training session was over.

Unfortunately, we imagine that Balotelli is used to getting this kind of treatment from fans. But still…WTF? Disgusting.
