You know who was really impressed by Donald Sterling's apology during his interview with Anderson Cooper on CNN last night? No one. No. One. Reason being, it was pretty much the absolute worst apology of all time. Not only did Sterling not really apologize, he actually managed to make people hate him even more because of some things that he said about Magic Johnson during the interview.

Despite this, there is at least one person out there who has agreed to forgive Sterling. That person? Gilbert Arenas. Arenas has done some things in the past that have caused people to dislike him. So he took to Instagram yesterday to reveal that he's ready to accept Sterling's apology and let him move on with his life.

"I'll be the first to accept ur apology," he wrote on an Instagram caption next to a photo of Sterling, "as a man who's made a mistake or two in life I know how hard it is to look at your self in the mirror when you let so many ppl down but for anybody who can't and won't accept his apology u need to look in the mirror because were not perfect…forgiveness will destroy racism not more hatred."

To that, we have just three words for Agent Zero: Speak for yourself. If Sterling was truly sorry for what he said to V. Stiviano and promised to change, we might be willing to look deep, deep, deep, deep, deep into our hearts to find forgiveness. But nothing about Sterling's interview with Cooper came across as sincere or sorry. So…no. Arenas will be the first and last guy affiliated with the NBA to forgive and forget what Sterling has done.
