Earlier today, the Chicago Bears held a press conference to officially announce Brandon Marshall's three-year/$30 million contract extension. You know, just in case you didn't see him ink the new deal earlier this week on The View. And usually, holding a press conference for a contract extension doesn't seem necessary, however, it became very clear that Marshall needed an opportunity to thank the organization for believing in him and getting the 30-year-old receiver in a "safe environment" in Chicago.
