We're big fans of AMG here at Complex. It makes cars that are fast and accurate, but they seem to be mostly focused on just being fun to drive, and that's awesome. The heart of AMG cars is definitely the crazy engines, and this news makes us very hopeful for the future.

AMG Petronas F1 engineers will be working on future AMG road car engines. Yeah, the team behind the bizarre split turbo V6 that's dominating F1 right now is going to be making fun toys for people who aren't Lewis Hamilton. There's no word yet on which cars will get the F1 touch, but we can't wait to find out.

In a perfect world, this decision will affect Aston Martin, but we wouldn't hold our breath.
