A new car's value plummets as soon as you drive it off the lot, but that's nothing compared to what happens when you drive it into a pool. A young driver in Houston lost control of his brand new ChevyCamaro ZL1 last week and crashed through a fence and into a community pool. He didn't sustain any injuries to cry about, but he's got to be shedding tears over his $57,650 baby.
Fixing the car won't be the only thing on his plate, though. He'll also have to pay for the damage to the fence and to the pool's filtration system if any of the car's chemicals cause any problems. And because bad things come in threes, the police could charge him with failure to control speed or other charges.
In the video below you can see a tow truck lift the Camaro out of the pool. The funniest part is watching the tow truck driver hop underwater to attach the chain. That's probably not a part of his daily routine.
